Who We Are

The Wangjing Tentha Farmers’ Development Association (WATEFADEAS) is a non-profit organization registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 (Reg. No. 4803 of 1983). Established on 11th November 1983, the association has been at the forefront of rural transformation in Manipur for over four decades.

Our organization was nationally recognized when we received the National Award for Child Welfare (2000), presented by the Hon’ble President of India, Shri K.R. Narayanan, at Rashtrapati Bhawan, New Delhi. This honor highlights our long-standing commitment to the welfare of children, women, and farming families.
